are ways to have an internet business but it
helps to have your own website. There are numerous
applications and software programs with point, click and
drop technology to make web page creation a snap. For those

designing websites today, but take it from my experience, do

I found Microsoft FrontPage 2000 to work very well
for me. It's really easy to use for making web pages. You
would use it in the same way you use a word processor. You
can insert images and hyper-links with a few clicks of a
mouse button. When you get more comfortable with HTML and
writing the code that is behind the web pages you see, you
might want to start using Notepad, which is also something
that you already have. With a little trial and error, you
will soon find that creating web pages is not that hard at
all. Of course, you will want to get a little more creative
and with a little time and testing, you will.
To make money
with your web pages you will want to include a lot of text so
that the search engines will find your web page attractive
enough to include in their databases. That is another activity
that takes some testing through trial and error but pays off
in the end. When you submit your web page to a search engine,
the search engine uses a program called a spider to look at
your web page and count the words that are used. If you find
just the right combination of words for the phrase that you
are targeting, you will get higher ranking in their search
engine. Search engines look for keywords in your document. The
search engine spider tries to determine what your web page is
about by counting the keywords in specific parts of your web
page. More weight is given to keywords that are found in the
name of the page, it's title, headlines, hyper-links and other
parts. By playing with the words in your document, you can
eventually get a higher ranking on search engines for the
keywords or phrases that you are targeting.
There
are many aspects of making web pages and web sites
that will rank well in search engines and it will take some
time to learn how to do it right.
OK, so now
you have created a web page. It is time now to talk about what
this page is really about and that is getting your own
website. A website is nothing more than a collection of web
pages tied together. Once you have created a set of web pages
that all link together and saved them on your computer, you
have a website. It is just that you need to put that website
somewhere other than on your computer. If you are on a strict
budget, you can use free hosting companies to put your web
pages on. The basis behind free hosting is that the hosting
company puts a banner on each of your web pages. Their hope is
that people will visit your page and click on their banner.
This is the only price you have to pay for "free
hosting". They don't tend to last too long and their
services are mostly sub-par. You can pay for hosting and get
better service plus you won't have to host banners on your
website. These are the budget web hosting companies so you
shouldn't expect too much out of them. If your budget is not
quite that tight then you can go to another directory that has
web hosting packages for all budgets. After you find a
